What do you think about setting up a Japaaan Facebook Group?

The strategy I would recommend is setting up a Facebook group to promote this site. The viral nature of Facebook is really amazing. People who are interested will join up here too.

Once you have the user base on Facebook it will also be a great way to promote future events. I personally recommend it.

I thought about it, too (and actually asked Maruyama-san of Japan-hopper to create one in Mixi. I think it's up adn running now). Since I'm not yet familiar with Facebook, would you set up Japaaan group in FB, Andrew?

Then you could just add an RSS feed from the NING forums .. and put a link in the description noting to chat on NING. I've put it on my FB Profile, if you can see that....
