First off-line meeting

I would like to have our first off-line meeting (nomikai) in the week of Jan-6 somewhere in Tokyo (my apology for those whoa are not living in Tokyo)

Any advice?

Good idea. We can meet in an Izakaya or something somewhere in downtown Tokyo. Since this network is about Japan and called "Japaaan" it should be Japanese cuisine/atmosphere or am I mistaken?

After talking to Andrew and Serkan, I would like to have our first off-line meeting on 9th of January (Wednesday).
Please make yourself aviailable on that day ;-)

Time and place is not fixed. Any advice on where we should meet is welcome.

Place and time are now fixed for our first off-line meeting as follows:

Time: 19:00 - until you like to go home
Place: Open Associates, Inc. (Akasaka Garden City 18F, 4-15-1 Akasaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo), MAP
(The nearest station is Akasaka-mitsuke (Ginza-line / Marunouchi-line) or Aoyama-itchome (Ginza-line / Hanzomon-line / Ooedo-line)
)

Meeting will be BYO (bring your own) style. If you feel like to eat, please bring your food, if you like to dring, you can bring your
beers or sake etc. I'll have some pizza ordered.

The meeting room has a capacity for maximum of 30 people, and we're currentyly expecting 7~8 members on Wednesday.
